Volunteer Voice
Amy Lagasse
WCF is grateful to the many individuals who dedicate their time, talents, and energy to growing faith in our community.
“... As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

WCF Welcomes our NEW Directors
Simon Dean
WCF Director
Bro. Simon, along with his wife, Sis. Lorna Dean have been quite involved in many aspects of WCF in the past few years. Last fall, Simon agreed to join WCF in a more formal capacity as a Director. He is leading the “Make Faith Matter” programs.
John Perks
WCF Director
Bro. John, along with his wife, Sis. Rachel Perks contributed to WCF a couple of years ago as mentors for our FaithLaunch program. John also joined WCF this past fall as a WCF Director. He is a teacher by trade, he and his family have done an amazing job finding creative ways to support Bible verse memorization, and John is very interested in the spiritual development of our young people, so it is fitting that he is leading the “Help Faith Grow in Youth” programs, under which FaithLaunch 3 is included.
WCF Welcomes our NEW Volunteers
Ben Link
FaithLaunch 3 Lead
Bro. Ben, along with his wife, Sis. Hannah did mission work with WCF’s White Fields program, in South Africa in 2021/2022.
View their prior T2T/White Fields blogs here:
Bro. Ben has agreed to help Bro. John Perks lead the FaithLaunch 3 program.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with FaithLaunch, it is a program designed for those 18-35 years of age, that sets them on a path for success as they embark on their own lifelong journey of faith. FaithLaunch equips them with faith-building tools, connects them with a support network, and helps them build their own plan to guide you through your journey.
The last few years have been remote due to the pandemic; however, we are very excited that FaithLaunch 3 will be held in person, Lord willing. Stay tuned for more information.
Ruth Ann Hewitson
Rise Up and Build Program Team Member
Sister Ruth Ann is a new addition to the Rise Up and Build planning team. The Rise Up and Build initiative is designed to help ecclesias regain their momentum, restore weakened bonds, and share the Good News in our local communities. Recently, there have been new challenges that can sap our Ecclesia’s energy and focus. Rise Up and Build provides quarterly ‘touch and teach’ initiatives, an online bulletin board with information on streaming events and Sunday school resources, and regular communiques containing ideas that ecclesias have found beneficial in their spiritual development.
To learn more about Rise Up and Build and to hear from our new volunteer, Michael Nielson (see below), click here to listen to “A Little Faith” podcast where Michael speaks to Jessica Miller, the lead for WCF’s Rise Up and Build program.
A Little Faith Podcast Co-Host
We welcome Bro. Michael Nielsen (as mentioned above) to our Podcast team.
Bro. Michael will be assisting Bro. Levi Gelineau host “A Little Faith Podcast”.

Nathan Lines & Daniel Kempster
White Fields Team
Nathan and Daniel, both hailing from Australia, assisted the brethren in Cambodia from February 14 - March 4 this year as a White Fields workers.
Here’s a quote from their blog:
“We really enjoyed the fellowship we were able to share with our brothers and sisters in Cambodia. It was a blessing for us to get an insight into the lives of those in another branch of God’s vineyard and be encouraged by the faith of the ecclesias we visited. We hope and pray that our work may have had its desired effect in strengthening and uplifting those we visited and pray that God will continue to bless the work being done in Cambodia. Thank you for your support for our travels.”

Hymn 362
“Come, labour on!
Who dares stand idle on the harvest plain,
While all around him waves the golden grain?
And to each servant does the Master say,
‘Go, work to-day!’
Come, labour on!
Claim the high calling angles cannot share;
To young and old the gospel message bear;
Redeem the time; its hours too swiftly fly, -
The night draws nigh.
Come, labour on!
The toil is pleasant, the reward is sure;
Blessed are those who to the end endure;
How full their joy, how deep their rest shall be,
O Lord, with thee!”
