Sunday School Gathering
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” - (Matt. 19:14 NIV). A special event is being planned for Sunday School students in the Philippines over three days (January 2-4, 2025) during the Christmas school holiday.
The program will reach more than 500 young people ages 7 to 14 with daily content of a Bible lesson, craft activities to support the lesson, songs and other activities. Snacks would also be provided. The youth camp would be delivered live to pods of children meeting in various ecclesial halls across the Philippines, and might also include young people from Cambodia, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
Approximately $27,000 is needed to cover the cost of purchasing, collating, and delivering materials and snacks to all locations. This cost is substantially lower than it would be in the US or Australia. Our goal is to supply some of the lesson materials and help coordinate their distribution.
