FAITH CHATS

The FaithChat video series aims to strike a positive and uplifting tone of faith, showing how faith can sustain us through dark times, reminding us that faith focuses on the good God has promised, not the fears of today.

The series has twin goals: Help our Community stay connected in a time of isolation; and Help faith to grow, especially in a time of crisis and great uncertainty.

FaithChat focuses on five key faith themes

God works most evidently when we have no control. It is precisely in times like this that God wants us to trust him, and our faith grows when we do.
God and Jesus understand and care about our situation. God designed affliction to improve us--to draw us closer to Him and His Son--not to punish us. After all, Jesus suffered terribly, to a beautiful result.
It is made from the people who are connected to each other through Jesus. This sudden interruption in our daily and weekly faith activities is an ideal time to ponder anew how we supply the faith, hope and love to connect in the most meaningful ways.
Shelter in place can naturally create a sense of isolation and loneliness. Many are suffering health and financial crises. Even though we cannot stand shoulder to shoulder in Sunday meeting, it is even more important that we stand together in faith, with hands ready to reach out in new and creative ways.
Our friends, neighbors and nations are fearful. This is a time for our faith to shine as a light in darkness, with caring hands, loving hearts and a message of hope that is desperately needed.
