1. The blind man saw all the wonder, beauty and worth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

• What might I be missing?

• What might prevent our community of believers from seeing Jesus this way?

2. The blind man traveled a road of increasing knowledge—rising to a peak of calling Jesus a

prophet. But he needed to go still further in his faith journey. Jesus sought him out and

that’s when the man finally said, “I believe” and then he “worshiped him.”

• Where am I on my faith journey?

• Can we help others go beyond just knowledge of Jesus? If so, how?

3. The Pharisees had the scriptures but still “missed” Jesus—going so far as to blaspheme God

by casting out a man healed by His son.

• What am I defending or protecting that blinds me to seeing Jesus for all he is?
