MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Mark Drabenstott

I was heading home. I had spent two months touring Israel and was ready to go home. The last leg of my journey was from Nazareth to Tel Aviv. I had spent a month on a kibbutz and a friend in Tel Aviv was providing a bed for the night and a ride to the airport. I piled into a sherut, a shared taxi that could accommodate 6 riders. FaithLaunch Conference

Not too long before the COVID virus pushed us into lockdowns and isolation, a team of WCF members came up with an idea that intended to bring young people together to help them build meaningful and enduring lives of faith. The program was called Faith Launch.

MEET THE DIRECTOR: Simon Dean

Get to know one of WCF’s newest Directors, Simon Dean! Levi Gelineau interviews Simon on the newest episode of A Little Faith. Simon describes for Levi what he sees as unique about WCF and how that led to his involvement with the Faith Chats and Online Bible Schools. He talks passionately about the global reach of the Foundation. Simon shares his experience of singing along to Hymns For Sunday with a brother and sister living in isolation in Croatia. Levi and Simon discuss the Make Faith Matter videos initiative, how to address our "faith deficits" and create content that inspires us towards a richer faith-driven life in Christ. Next, Simon tells Levi about growing up in Watford Ecclesia with Harry Tennant, among others. Finally, they discuss the joys and challenges of integrating 26 newly baptized Iranians in Simon's home ecclesia of Ware, England.
