When transporting people — especially believers — becomes an important factor in getting them to (and back fom) the place that provides the needed work, encouragement, medical attention, documentation, product, food or companionship, WCF will consider funding a vehicle (including operating costs) and driver (as a part-time service). Sometimes the situation can be addressed by simply covering public transportation costs.
Here are some examples:
Jamaica – ecclesia van transport, visiting shut-ins around the island, work vehicle
Phnom Phen, Cambodia – means of teacher travel (motor bike, tuk-tuk)
Tembisa & Kempton Park, South Africa – hauling kids, food pick-up-and-delivery
Margate, South Africa – hauling students
