WCF Service Activities Overview
WCF has funded ongoing and one-time service/pastoral projects around the world, specifically in the countries of South Africa, Kenya, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Jamaica, Canada and the United States. WCF-sponsored White Field fieldworkers are involved in several of these projects. You can read their first-hand reports and blogs by clicking here.
“Serving the Community” projects include feeding programs (e.g., nutrition drink for neighborhood kids, meals for the unemployed, food distribution to needy schools and orphanages), building efforts (e.g., new community center, upgrade a creche, fix a dwelling) and practical teaching (e.g., day-care teacher training, cooking classes, basic computer usage). You can check out the various areas by clicking here.
“Serving the Brotherhood” projects include pastoral work (e.g., visit the widows & shut-ins, instruct the youth, refresh the believers), welfare (e.g., housing, medicine, medical treatment) and practical teaching (e.g., life-skills, workshops, Bible study). Here are some illustrations:
