Day-13 is also the date slot used to show the extent and accommodations of Adieu Centre, the name given (by Lucas and Leona) to the property and facility purchased the first week in March, i.e., just before the video team arrived. The slideshow is a “walkthrough” starting at the front of the property and ending with the dormitory at the back of the lot. Adieu turned out to be a haven of rest, a place for tasty meals, and the spot for pool fun and baptisms. The Centre was also conducive for great fellowship, equipped to allow end-of-day computer editing and reporting, and provided a critical capacity for the Food Distribution Channel program.
Planned expansion, modification, and upgrades were discussed before we left and included improving the food storage and assembly area with an all-season canopy and security gate, adding on to the dorms on the left side of the property, constucting a sleeping-loft in the back dorm, adding toilet and laundry facilities to the side of the back dorm, proximate to the caravan area, making the ultility room into the ecclesia Sunday meeting place, installing a new filtering system for the pool and clean, paint and organize as required to make the Centre ready for a group of 20 people expected in June.[nggallery id=43]
