Dear Friends,

The baby came sixteen years ago Cold, wet and crying Coming into a new world, bright and clean A crowd of witnesses there to help her along People celebrating the joyous occasion

She was just a baby Brimming with promise and hope Her father overwhelmed at the miracle of birth It didn’t matter if it was boy or girl She was alive, healthy and mine

Ten fingers and ten toes As perfect as she could possibly be Into the loving arms of her parents A struggle behind, life ahead Please God, watch over her, bless her and keep her

Today she is born anew Cold, wet and crying Coming into the world of Light A crowd of witnesses there to help her along People celebrating the joyous occasion

She is just a babe in Christ Brimming with promise and hope Her father overwhelmed at the miracle of rebirth There is neither male nor female in Christ She is alive, healthy and God’s

A new creation without sin As perfect as she could possibly be by grace Into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father A struggle behind, life ahead Please God, watch over her, bless her and keep her.

Have a great week,
